Photography allows me to capture and preserve a moment in time that becomes immortalized. The feeling expressed in an image transforms it from a two-dimensional image to something very alive in my soul. My images seek to capture interaction, between the elements and forces of nature or between animals or people. These interactions are what make us “alive”.
Initially I picked up a camera when I was 12 as a way to engage with the world around me inspite of my incredible shyness. What grew out af documenting family and capturing animal images developed into a passion for capturing moments, textures, lines and color .
It has been exciting to share my images at exhibitions including the Annual New Mexico Photographic Art Show, Insight New Mexico, the Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center, Albuquerque Photography Gallery Juried Show and in a digital exhibition at the Louve in Paris, France through the Exposure Award 2015.
